Listening to: The Knack - My Sharona
Alrighty! So for members who have heard about this studio but never stepped a foot inside the door, here's a few snapshots of where the magic happens. With the photography skills of a professional amateur, get an eyeful of the studio and a few who dwell within....
Step 1: Get to Devonshire House and instead of heading up to the watering hole a.k.a. The Ram, and the many feeding areas, go around the stairs an find the teeny door....
Step 2: Enter the door and immediately to your left, you will see the extensive selection of Vinyl records which range from Blondie to Zepplin.... (managed to catch Becky - Head of Music- loitering around them)
Step 3: Continue into the station and be confronted by the wires of airwaves! Pigeon holes of the committee are to the left of the window ...
Step 4: Look through the window and see the DJs broadcasting to the campus... here is Stevie doing her thang, but when the red heart glows- theyre on air so keep out!
Step 5: Take a right turn, into Studio Two where the production shizz goes down. Here is a Rory and a Mark looking 'busy' like usual. The small window to the left is a viewing hole for Studio 3 where recordings occur..if you can get in.
Our extenisve CD collection which has just been ruthlessly edited, and most is now on the system for the DJs.
