Hey there good looking!

Well, welcome to the first official Xpression FM blog where the world of student radio is going to be cracked open to spill out the guts of what really goes on under those steps of Devonshire House.... if you never knew that that's where the studios are for broadcasting, then shame on! But no worries, my friend, as this blog is going to shed light on any enigmatic aspect of our campus station.

Firstly, let me introduce myself. I'm Sophie Saint, you might remember me from such things as The Open Mic Highlights programme that gets broadcasted after those magical Wednesday nights at the lemmy, with my co-host Rosie Duff. We are also responsible for that show, 'Rosie and Saint' every Monday 2pm-4pm which is a pure, unadulterated delight to do... i'll be doing this blogging shindig until i'm evicted from campus via a graduation but here's what this lil' diary of sorts will bring you:

• The show of the week will get profiled and awarded the golden Mic *see below for the prestigous award*...

• Committee members will be harrassed, so that will be Q&As, photographs, just some general stalking..


• Events that are coming up or have occured..


• Photographs of everything!! That'll be members...presenters...the studio... nothing is safe..


• Open Mic coverage- you're going to get a full blown report and i'll get on the acts who performed as well- photos (again), interviews, the lot!


• There'll be guest bloggers, and regular shout-outs from committee members of '09/'10...

I'm sure there'll be lots more but as the first blog entry, i thought i'd just seduce you with a taster. So *favourite* this blogspot on your computer, check it regularly or subscribe to its updates, tell yo friends to do the same and lets all get a bit of Xpression loving on the go!
